A Friend In Need

I just got a call from a friend asking from monetary help. She was a childhood friend and a classmate in a preparatory school. We've been friends for more than 25 years now but just recently lost contact because she would be moving in with her parents in the north side of the country to attend to her father. She just recently found out that his father was suffering from Mesothelioma - a rare form of cancer that develops from the protective lining that covers many of the body’s internal organs which is most commonly caused by asbestos exposure. We’ve known his dad as a physically conscious man so we are really in shock to learn that he is suffering with such condition. My friend is soliciting money from friends and families so she can send his dad to a mesothelioma treatment center so she can save his father. Good thing I still have spare money to give her. I really hope his father would recover soon.
