Motivated to Lose Weight

Last week, I had the chance to meet with my former classmates in college which is also my closest friends and we were able to discuss about our status in life and what plans we have in mind. Odette, a friend who introduced me to my current boyfriend, told me that she thinks it's time for us to get married. My boyfriend and I has been together for almost five years now and to be honest with you... I also feel the same. Well, hey - I'm turning 30 this year and most of the girls my age already have dozens of children while I am here and wasn't even married! I am giving myself till the end of this month to finalize as to whether I would go for it or I would wait a little more, till we are already financially stable and once I get rid of this 40 pounds off my weight.

Well, speaking of losing weight... just yesterday I bought a little device that would help me lose weight in preparation for my wedding. I don't want to walk in the aisle looking bloated. It's a little machine that works on the whole body and it's so easy to use as I only just need to lean and balance myself from one side to the other. I also intend to try Herbalife products which Sam, my friend is currently using right now. I swear, she lost almost a third of her body weight in just a month or two and it's all because of a certain Herbalife Formula 1 Shake Mix and some Herbalife supplements. I can tell that since it works for her, I'm sure it would work for me too especially now that I have motivation to lose weight. Did some research and found out through their site that they offer a lot of products that would help any individual regardless of their age, weight and race (they even have their site in different languages! Check their Herbalife Soziales.) Can't wait to try this remarkable products!

I would let you know my progress. If I lose at least 20 pounds for the next two months... I think I would be ready for the d-day!

note: I'm currently weighing 175 lbs. Way to go!

Healthier New Year

Last week, I decided to live a healthier life. I wanted to lose some extra pounds and I intend to make sure that I would be able to meet my target weight in the next three months. I would be celebrating my 30th birthday next month and since I am not getting younger… I’ve realized that it would be harder for me to lose weight because of my age if I won’t start that scheme as soon as possible. I decided to take one step at a time and lose weight slowly but surely. Here are my initial action plans:

First, I would try to quit smoking. I’ve realized that it would not be easy so I decided to first try using electronic cigarette for a start just to lower down my nicotine intake since I've learned that it does contain no tar, tobacco, ash, or smell. You can smoke whenever you want without having to worry about the serious drawbacks of traditional cigarettes. What's best is that it is 75% cheaper than a regular cigarette! I love it!

Second, I would only eat healthy foods from now on. I just recently purchased an electronic griller which does have an oil plate to remove excess fat from the food. Instead of having my food fried, I could just have it grilled instead.

Lastly, I would need to exercise everyday. I also just recently purchased an exercise machine which is so handy I could keep it under my bed. It promises a 2-3 pounds reduction on my weight if I would faithfully use it for ten minutes daily. I normally take my ten minute work out after each heavy meal such as breakfast or lunch.

I need to make it work this time not just because I want to wear that sexy bikini this summer…I need to do this for security reasons. Obesity is not that easy to handle but if someone has the determination and consistency… I know there is no mountain high enough for her. I intend to make it work. God help me.

MY OWN STRESS RELIEVER

I think I have found a new solution and a new way to alleviate stress.. I think buying a new gadget would definitely revive back my passion to get back on the right track. I've been thinking of buying a new celphone this year as my old phone already messed up. I can use it's call capability but it is very hard for me to use it's texting function. The A key on the keypads are very hard to press and it takes a lot of effort to just put in that single letter. There has been a lot of miscommunication that happened before because I was'nt able to convey the message correctly as the letter "A" on the words was missing.

I checked on the net and was able to stumble upon a phone blog that gave me an idea to just buy a mobile phone online. It would definitely save me time and energy as I don't need to go to an actual mobile phone retail store to look for the perfect phone that would fit both my lifestyle and budget. This uk phone shops blog provides information about having to buy phones online and their advantages. I've learned through phone blog uk that online stores usually offers cheaper price for the phones as compared to retail or street stores. They often gave out discounts and promos online to attract customers. I tried going to an online phone shop and they also provides information about the product and it's specifications. Unlike buying from a street store for mobile phones where you are not so sure if the salesman is really giving out the correct and accurate information about the product. Through an online store, you're sure that all the information that you are receiving are first hand infos from the manufacturer itself.

I would definitely get a new phone come next month (I'm still saving for it) and I will definitely buy it through an online shop. Wish me luck!

I Need A Break

I have been so busy trying to find ways on how I can manage my time doing my online job and my full time work as a tech support. I think I really need a break and I already asked my supervisor about my plans of filing a letter of intent for a leave of absence for at least a week on February, my birthday month. I guess, I need to give my self at least a week's rest so I can think things over clearly and decide whether or not to push through with my plan of really hitting it big on this online work. I hope I can make it.

By the way, I asked Melai's sister to help me in my online work. I gave her a share of my tasks and gave her instructions on how to go about doing it. I need to upload the files I have made for my client and I need to have an assistant so I could send it before deadline. I use this site, misupload.com for sending out large files that is too large for email. I can even host files, images, videos, and audio through the site and I can use it for several other purposes other than work. I can now clearly see the convenience of not having to bring along my portable hard drive or those little usb sticks. All I just need to do is to do file upload through the site and just download it on any other computers! What a convenient way to send huge files! I was also able to find out that I can also earn through the site just by uploading files which is not less than 5 MB. I think I've just discovered another favorite site!

I will post some other stress reliever tips and info's here for those of you who are drained just like me,lol. For the meantime, ciao!

Healthy Tips: PART 3

When the waitress asks what you want to drink, always say iced tea. The more we learn about tea, the more healthful it looks. A recent U.S. Department of Agriculture (news – web sites) study found that a serving of black tea had more antioxidants – crucial to your body’s defense against heart disease, cancer, and even wrinkles – than a serving of broccoli or carrots.

Have an afternoon snack every day at 3 o ‘ clock. A nutritional boost between lunch and dinner wards off fatigue and keeps you from overindulging later, says Keith Ayoob. Ed.D..R.D., director of the nutrition clinic at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Rose F. Kennedy Center. Just don’t scarf down a candy bar. Try yogurt and fruit, crackers and cheese, or an egg (hard-boiled), an apple, and a thirsty-quencher like bottled water. All of these foods will give you long-lasting energy.

Always leave the skin on your fruit. If you peel apples or pears, you’re throwing away heavy-duty nutrients and fiber. Same goes for potatoes. Go ahead and peel oranges, but leave as much of the the white stem that runs up the middle.
